During our visit to Gems Heart Mission in Cavite, Philippines this past April, 2010, our 8 year old daughter asked us if she could have her own web page. We thought this was a strange request so we asked her why and she responded, "I would like to try and raise funds for a playground for the Gems kids because they have no place to play". We thought this was a good idea and after we discussed the idea with Cora Buenasflores, founder of Gems Heart, we discovered that there was a vacant lot adjacent to the Gems/Nazareth Neighborhood which could be used for this purpose. We are gathering some cost data now and will soon have the cost needed to build a playground. Your donations of any amount will be  much appreciated!
